Cent. X,72: A dating error?

"The great seer blew it...", "he really was wrong this time...", is what I've been reading in numerous papers this late Juli and in the beginning of August. Juli, the seventh month has come...and gone. Nothing happened.

I take it that translations could be wrong, regarding Cent. X,72, first line: "L'an mil neuf cens nonante neuf sept mois..." Lets take a look at "sept mois". Some people read "seventh month", but I read "month of September", with "sept" as an abreviation for September obviously.

Nostradamus' jewish background also speaks in this direction; the seventh month of the Jewish Calendar is the month of Tishri, which is mid-September to mid-October. He could have used this calendar, along with a roman year count just to make it harder to actually date this gloomy quatrain. But anyway, I think that to fully solve and understand Nostradamus, you must BE him. And the key will therefore be locked inside his soul forever...we'll just have to see what happens.
